Olivia Taylor
I spent 10 years battling addiction and mental health struggles. I went from drinking a litre of vodka a day and spiraling into drug binges to building a life beyond anything I could have imagined. At my lowest, I had no self-respect, no sense of worth, and couldn’t manage my emotions—whether I had alcohol or not. I’ve faced domestic violence, coercive control, and childhood trauma. But today, I’ve never been more emotionally stable or at peace.
From someone who couldn’t sit with her own thoughts for five minutes without a drink, I now find contentment painting in silence for hours. I tried countless methods to get sober, but it wasn’t until I discovered DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) that I was able to maintain sobriety and truly transform my way of thinking. And I believe recovery shouldn’t come with a £3000 price tag. It should be accessible to everyone.
That’s why I retrained as a DBT skills coach and addiction recovery coach. Since then, I’ve earned a wealth of qualifications in therapy skills and addiction. I’ve been through the darkest rock bottoms, learned the skills to overcome addiction, and now I’m here to teach them to you. No matter where you are on your journey, I’m here to support you, and guide your out of the dark and into the light.
